# Gebruikers en rechten beheren

Deze pagina beschrijft hoe je in TotalLink medewerkers onboardt, rechten toekent via gebruikersgroepen, en de volledige levenscyclus van een medewerker beheert — van indienst tot archiveren.

## Zo is het rechtensysteem opgebouwd

Rechten worden niet per persoon uitgedeeld, maar **per gebruikersgroep**. Hierdoor hoef je bij het onboarden enkel de medewerker aan de juiste groepen te koppelen — dan staan alle rechten direct goed.

Het beheer van de rechten komt dus samen bij de gebruikersgroepen. Een medewerker zit in één of meer gebruikersgroepen.

Dit klinkt complex — en dat is het in het begin. Maar omdat bijna elke beheeractie die je ooit gaat doen dit model volgt, verdient het de tijd om het goed onder de knie te krijgen.
